Want a delicious sweetened condensed milk without all that sugar? I just love it for desserts because it really brings out that wow factor for the recipe. It is so easy to make and is most definitely better than any original not keto friendly recipes out there. I believe that the ingredients used in any recipe should be of good quality if you want it to taste amazing! I’m also unsure if this is true about Land O Lakes being no carb?! Sweetened Condensed Milk
Ingredients
- 4 Cups Heavy Cream Land O Lakes Heavy cream
- 4-5 Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Cup Monkfruit Sweetener
- 6-10 Drops Liquid Stevia
Instructions
- You will want to use a big wide pan so it condenses easily. Add all ingredients and bring to a boil for a couple minutes while stirring. Turn heat to low and simmer uncovered stirring occasionally.
- If you are doing the full recipe it will take about 45 minutes to an hour, but the recipe can be cut in half and will condense much faster.
- You can speed up the process if you turn up the heat stirring it constantly making sure to not scorch it. It will thicken up as it cools and even be firm after a day in the fridge. The possibilities are endless with this recipe. Chocolate fudge, brownies, cookies, pies and more!

No cream is carb free. The problem in the US is that food manufacturers can choose to round up or down when it comes to the nutrition label. In the case of LOL, they rounded down. It is, however, less than 1g carbs per serving (which is why they rounded down to zero, while others round up to one.)
That said, I’m happy there’s a recipe that doesn’t use coconut milk, but the question is, why the butter? What does it add? How long does this last in the fridge?
I completely understand and I love the butter it adds a richness that is so delicious. It will last about a week or more but it doesn’t last that long when I make it on account of being able to use it in most baking recipes.:)
Can I substitute another sweetener for Stevia? I don’t like it and don’t buy it.
Yes, just leave it out all together and add a tbsp more of the monkfruit sweetener! Sorry for late response as I’m just now seeing this.
